Enjoy the historic town of madison. Very little green space although the vistas are scenic. All the sites drain well as there is a plethora of gravel and rocks. The history of the area is very interesting but everything is closed on mondays.

Asheville just 25 minutes away and an easy drive. In june 2020 we stayed in our fifth wheel at rutledge lake rv park in fletcher nc. It is not dog friendly as the dog park is in terrible shape with huge holes in the fence no grass and steep slopes. In april 2020 we stayed in our fifth wheel at hard labor creek state park in rutledge ga.
